Waiting Parents: Will and Heather
Hello! We are the Whitehills and we feel so blessed that you are taking the time to read our profile! We hope that you feel blessed and loved as you look at our pictures and learn a little about us. We want you to know that we have been praying for you and for the sweet baby that you are carrying. We have been dreaming about being parents throughout our journey of infertility for the past 3 years. We always knew we wanted to adopt at some point (Will even brought it up on our second date). Through much prayer, God has made it clear to us that this is the time He has for us to adopt. We are very excited to be adopting, and we have so much love to share with a child. We hope and pray that you will have peace throughout this entire process and that you will feel God’s love.
We have been married for a little over 4 years and each day gets better and more fun together. We met at the wedding for two of our best-friends. We got married on September 23, 2016, which was only ten months after our first date! Will’s “dance moves” were one of the things Heather first noticed about him when they met. Heather was more entertained than she was impressed. Our journey with infertility started 1 year into marriage. While it has been a tough season, it deepened our love for one another and drew us closer to God.
We love to vacation to new places together and do as many outdoor activities as possible. We have been blessed to see some incredible places already and have many more on our bucket list. We love spending time with our families, both of which live in the DFW area. We make it a point to see both of our families every weekend, if possible. We love riding our bikes and taking walks around our neighborhood or White Rock Lake.
Will is an avid runner and triathlete. With multiple marathons and an ironman under his belt, he is frequently looking for his next race to train for. Heather loves to read, garden, and spend time with her niece and nephew that live a few minutes away. We have been blessed with 7 wonderful nephews and nieces. We love getting to help take care of them and watch them grow.
Heather works as a Nurse on a Transplant Unit at a Dallas Hospital. It can be hard work, but she provides incredible care to patients and their families. She has made some deep relationships with patients and families over the years all because of her tender love and care. Will works as a Manager in a large consulting firm. He is blessed with a flexible work environment and often gets to work from home. He enjoys his job and is excited to see what the future holds at his company.
We cannot wait to welcome a little boy or girl into our family and we are so thankful for what you are doing! We want you to know that we will love your child unconditionally and raise him or her with the kind of self-less love that Jesus shows us. Your child will know that he or she is truly loved by us. We know this cannot be an easy decision and we are incredibly proud of you and the brave decisions you are making. We hope that we can be part of your journey and provide peace with your decision. God loves you and we are praying for you!
