Waiting Parent: Raechel

Thank you for taking the time to learn about my life and why I have chosen to grow my family through adoption. I am so excited to finally start this journey to growing my family. I have always wanted to be a Mom and feel like this is the right time to start my journey to becoming a parent. I will raise a child with faith in God, lots of love, laughter, and kindness. I have a stable career as a school counselor and enjoy helping my students and parents. I am blessed to have a rewarding career that enables me to make an impact on a child’s life on a daily basis.

I live in a safe, diverse neighborhood with parks, quality schools and close to many child friendly activities.

Although I will be a single parent, I won’t be alone in raising a child. We will be surrounded by a loving network of extended family and friends that will support me throughout my parenting journey. I am a proud Aunt and look forward to watching my child grow up with their cousins and extended family. I come from a close family and there will be many family reunions, get-togethers filled with good food, laughter, and great memories.

In my spare time I love to travel, plan parties for friends and family and spend time with my love ones. I already have a few ideas for future birthday parties. I look forward to traveling with my child and making great memories exploring different places. Some of my favorite trips have been to Italy and France.
