Waiting Parents: Neil and Katy
Hello, we are Neil and Katy, and we are honored that you would consider us to be the adoptive parents of your precious baby. We are excited to grow our family through adoption. Additionally, we are already an Aunt and Uncle to our four-year-old niece and godparents to a few of our friends’ children. Our hope is to be a source of comfort and help provide some piece in your decision-making. We believe the adoption plan you are making is an amazing confirmation of your selfless love and character. You are in our prayers.
We have been happily married for eleven years, and we have been inseparable since our freshman year of college. Katy works as an occupational therapist in a local hospital, and Neil is an architect on large commercial projects. We spend much of our time together walking our dog Bella, cooking, traveling, and enjoying time with family & friends. Neil’s hobbies include playing the guitar, photography, fishing, or tackling home renovation projects. Katy’s hobbies encompass playing piano, scrapbooking, and crafting. In our time together, we have traveled the globe, built stable careers, and now cannot wait to begin our new journey into parenthood.

From the moment I met Katy, I knew my life would never be the same. I know how fortunate I am that she chose me to be her husband. At this point in our lives, we have been together longer than we have been apart, and I can’t imagine doing life without her. We have embarked on some great adventures together, but this next chapter is perhaps the most exciting. Katy is highly organized, kind, fun, attentive, protective, and nurturing. I know Katy will be a phenomenal Mom.
Katy about Neil
We met in theatre class during our freshman year of college. I fell in love with Neil because of his genuine kindness, humor, and faith in God. Now we have been married for eleven years, and I couldn’t be happier. I love sharing my time with Neil. He inspires me to push myself and grow. He is genuinely my best friend and soul mate. Neil is funny, generous, kindhearted, and loving. He will be an incredible father who will demonstrate endless love, compassion, and patience.
Lastly, our community is designed for families and kids. Our neighborhood is filled with parks, walking/biking trails, lake views, and exemplary schools. We enjoy daily walks along the greenbelt trails with our dog Bella and experiencing Texas nature along the way. Throughout the year, our community is active with wildlife and family activities. We are also only a few houses down from a large playground with swings, slides, bridges, and tunnels. We know our community will be a fantastic place to raise a child, and we are ready to share our world with them.
