Waiting Parents: Jason and Shauna

Thank you for taking the time to learn about us and considering us as prospective parents for your child/children.  We are praying for you and your little one(s) as you navigate this moment in your life.  
 
We are Jason & Shauna Barron, and we have been married for 18 years with a desire to adopt children, as we currently do not have any of our own.  Currently, we live in Magnolia, TX, northwest of Houston.  We attend a Christian non-denominational church near our home and serve in different roles on Sundays.  Our relationship with the Lord is the most important part of our life, and we commit to teaching our children to develop in the same way. Together, we enjoy traveling, snowboarding, deer hunting, eating out at new restaurants, and spending time with each other.

We have been dreaming of parenthood for many years, and after not successfully having our own biological children, we feel strongly that adoption is the right path for us. We are a stable, loving couple with a strong commitment to providing a safe and nurturing home filled with warmth, support, and endless opportunities for a child to grow into becoming a great adult.

Shauna works as a pharmacist for a specialty oncology pharmacy and has been in remission from leukemia for almost 2 years. On Sundays, she serves at her church by greeting people as they arrive and praying with those with personal needs at the end of worship service. Shauna’s favorite thing to do is spend time with Jason and dog, Astreaux.

Jason also has a degree in pharmacy and currently works as a residential realtor in the greater Houston area. It is a joy for him to help families on the next journey in life as buying and selling a home are very stressful. Also, Jason enjoys outdoor activities and volunteering at the annual Houston Rodeo, but mostly enjoys spending time with Shauna.
