Waiting Parents: Emily and Ryan
We are Ryan, Emily, and Rylee Sweeten. We live in Rowlett, Tx. We are honored that you took the time to consider us! We are thrilled to start our second adoption journey! When we first started looking into options we weighed all of the pros and cons of different agencies and the foster system. After a lot of thought and consideration, we decided Lifetree Adoptions was a perfect fit for us! We couldn’t be more excited about becoming parents for the second time.
We met online and had a strong relationship from the beginning. We were married in December of 2016. Sadly because of Turner’s Syndrome, we could not have children the “normal” way. But to us blood does not make a family, love does.
So in December 2018, we adopted our daughter Rylee. It has been the best experience of our lives. We love her so much, and now we would like to add to our family.
About Ryan (by Emily)
Ryan is a tall, goofy and caring guy. He will do anything for anybody. He works as a manager for a pharmaceutical company. He loves cars, watches, and motorcycles. He has a high school degree, he is working on his bachelors. I am so proud to be his wife.
About Emily (by Ryan)
Emily puts the needs of others before hers, and she always thinks of others feelings. Emily is an elementary school teacher teaching kindergarten, and she does a very good job ensuring her kids are taken care of. She just graduated with her masters, and I’m proud of her!
About Rylee (by Ryan and Emily)
Rylee was born December 18th, 2018. She is the sweetest, funniest, and toughest little girl around. Rylee loves everyone she meets and is always looking to learn new things. She is the best thing to happen to us! We are honored to be parents to such a great little girl.
To any birthmothers considering us,
We have thought a lot about who you are, what you are like, and what we want to say to you. We guess the most important thing to say to you is thank you. Thank you for considering us. Thank you for trusting us with the child you have carried. Thank you for helping our dreams come true.
What you are going through and the decision you are making will not be easy. But you are making a decision that comes from a place of selflessness and with your child’s interest first. This makes you a great mom!
We have known all along that having biological children was out of the question, and after we adopted Rylee it was a no brainer to adopt agian. Now we are ready to take on this incredible adventure. The child you give birth to will be loved more than you can imagine!
Love,
Ryan, Emily, and Rylee
